"What does a tickle look like?"

This was the question Roger Hargreaves' six year-old son asked one morning in 1971, which inspired him to create Mr. Tickle, the first Mr. Men!

On August 10th 1971, the first six  Mr. Men books were published: 

The small, white square Mr. Men storybooks were an instant success, selling more than one million copies in the first three years. Ten years later, in 1981, Little Miss were introduced.  Over the years Mr. Men Little Miss has grown to a happy bunch of 84 uniquely expressive characters. Over 120 million books have been sold, with a Mr. Men book sold every 2.5 seconds worldwide!

In 2011, we celebrate 40 Years of Fun! There's a Mr. Men or Little Miss for everyone...maybe even two or three...depending on your mood! Pick the ones that are right for you - pick some for your friends too!
